How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?
Most couples book their wedding photographer 12–18 months in advance, especially for popular wedding dates during the warmer months. However, if your date is coming up sooner, please still get in touch — I’d love to see if I’m available.
How many hours of photography do we need?
Every wedding is different, and the right amount of coverage depends on what moments are most important to you.
Some couples choose shorter coverage focused on the ceremony and portraits, while others want their entire story documented from getting ready through to the celebrations.
During our planning process, I’ll help you decide what coverage best suits your day and the memories you want captured.
Do you help us plan our wedding timeline?
Absolutely. I believe the best photographs come from a well-planned day that still leaves room to enjoy every moment.
I’ll help you consider things like ceremony timing, natural light, travel between locations, portrait time, and the moments you want to prioritise so your day flows smoothly.
We feel awkward in front of the camera. Is that okay?
Completely. Most couples tell me they aren’t used to being photographed — and that’s exactly why my approach is relaxed and natural.
I’ll provide gentle guidance when you need it while allowing genuine moments and connection to happen naturally. My goal is for your photos to feel like you, not a forced version of yourselves.
How many photos will we receive?
100+ photos per hour of coverage.
Every wedding is unique, so the final number of images varies depending on your hours of coverage, guest count, and what happens throughout your day. My focus is always on delivering a complete collection of meaningful images that tell your wedding story, rather than simply providing a large number of photographs.
How long will it take to receive our gallery?
Your images are carefully selected and individually edited to ensure your final gallery is beautifully consistent.
Your full wedding gallery will be delivered within 4 weeks of your wedding day, with a sneak peek shared shortly after your celebration.
Do you travel for weddings?
Yes. I’m based in Dunedin and photograph weddings throughout Otago and beyond.
If your wedding is outside my usual travel area, please get in touch and I’d be happy to discuss travel options.
Can we print our photographs?
Yes. Your gallery includes access to professionally printed products so you can bring your favourite memories into your home.

How do we secure our wedding date?
Once you’ve decided you’d like me to photograph your wedding, I’ll send through your booking details and agreement. Your date is officially secured once your signed agreement and booking fee have been received
